I dunno, it is still when I drop his name amongst the non-boxing public most of the people are like "huh?"

I think he can do a bit better....with the right management.

Maybe, but it's going to drop wayyyyyyy down if he doesn't fight Cotto.

The Ring is already starting to blast him for fighting Oscar. Not as bad as on here, but sutble things here and there. I bet if Cotto beats Margarito, they'll have a full article about him "ducking" Cotto.

Exactly, how I feel, the WWE will definitely help Floyd and boxing, this should bring many younger fans to boxing.

Am I the only person alive who is anticipating a Floyd/Oscar rematch?

I'm anticipating it ever so slightly because De La Hoya has a chance to win, there will be another 24/7 series, there will be tons of coverage..

There is plenty of upside of course, but this is all about two ego maniacs.

ionno why people think that his celebrity is rising and ****. more people may find out who he is, but the point of being a celebrity is to get people to care and right now, the general public does not care for Floyd. I know this is like sulfiric acid being dropped in to the Floyd Boyz ears, but he isnt the mega superstar you all think he is. He is at best a Kathy Griffin or Jenna Lewis of the celebrity world. He could even drop a sex tape and that wouldnt do **** though I know some posters who would be hitting up *******s desperately to find it.

the fact that you had to ask that question should answer your question.
