Hatton initiates clinches over and over and over and over.

It's his whole offense now. It's against the rules, and some refs will allow it more than others. Get over it.

You've got to be ****ing kidding me. They are going to let that prick ref this fight after what he did to Hatton?

Hopkins is an excessive clincher! This is a good thing.
Mayweather Commited 70% of the fouls in the fight with Hatton.. Yet Hatton was the one warned.. and deducted the point..

I dont think people are "******ed" for expressing concern that Joe "I am Biased but Biased" Cortez will be Reffing this fight..

          Not ******ed at all..

What is this about Cortez not liking British fighters. Can anyone give me another example other than the other Hatton-Mayweather fight? I admit he was probably a little unfair to Hatton but perhaps Cortez had a problem with his style. If Cortez has showed on more than one occasion to disfavor British fighters WITH different styles then maybe you have a case.

I actually think this is worse for Hopkins.

This will ruin the fight plain and simple. If this was a PPV I would never buy it knowing Cortez is the ref.

Dont get me wrong, im not a big Hatton fan and I dont dislike mayweather. Im not making my comments with a bias towards either fighter, I just call it how I see it, and that night I saw Cortez warning Hatton for being held by Mayweather. More than once.

I'd put money on Hopkins now.

funny how most of u guys have split opinions on Joe Cortez... saying he doesn't favor UK fighters or doesn't favor clinch-fighting...

hmmmm...I say this makes this fight much interesting now
