Seriously after the Tszyu fight, where Hatton could have shanked Tzsyu on the inside and gotten away with it, why would people even cry about it?

Because other than the point deduction you talked about (which had no impact), and a bad break in round 2, I saw Cortez doing his job.

OH I dont disagree with that.. and have gone on record countless times saying Hatton fan's have no right to complain about Biased reffing..

I am not a Hatton fan... So I have every right to complain about one the ****tiest reffing jobs I have ever seen.. Cortez almost put Jay Nady to shame.. Almost..

And I am not saying he will favour Calzaghe or Hopkins.. ONLY that he will get way more involved in the fight than he should.. Just like nady does as well..
I dont watch Boxing to see the ref.. But these guys REALLY think they are part of the show..and They tend to ruin the flow of fights..

Ok now i favor Calzaghe to win, Cortez seems to get involved a little too much on rough and rugged fighters, and thats the only way Hopkins has a chance in this fight, so his chances just got lower.

I agree, I think people are missunderstanding (thats a long ass word) me when i say cortez did a ****y job with Mayweather-Hatton. Im not trying to defend hatton, I just saw bad reffing that night. And your right, I like to forget that the ref is in the ring when i watch a fight.
