I suppose Joe Frazier is soft and overrated as well because he got dominated by George Foreman? I suppose Eddie Futch, Frazier's trainer whom many believe to be the best of all-time, is nothing special as well?

Yes, Trinidad's chin isn't Hagler-esque, but his heart more than makes up for it. I believe that Trinidad has risen from the canvas about 5 or 6 times to knockout his opponent...and it's usually the round after he is knocked down, when he really turns up the intensity. Heart can make up for a lot of deficiencies, and Trinidad has it in excess.

No one is saying that Trinidad would beat Hopkins. Simply that he would do a lot better in a rematch. And how could you criticize a fighter for not being able to beat the best middleweight since Marvin Hagler. That's like calling Rodrigo Valez an overrated bum because he couldn't beat Carlos Monzon.

No way Tito is soft. Yeah he was kd'ed number of times but he got off the canvas and fought. This already can tell you that his chin is not bad. He lost only once. And that was to Hopkins. But so did number of good fighters during last 11 years. I dont like Tito but i am not blind enough not to see what he accomplished. In my opinion he will lose to Hopkins in a rematch and will probably lose to Wright.
