How does The Ring decide who is actual retired?

    No I mean if The Ring had stripped Floyd (which would be absurd even now because 1. it's against their policies and 2. Ricky Hatton counted as a defense) then Mosley and Cotto would have to fight (again) for the vancate title.

      No, if The Ring title is declared vacant by Floyd retiring, or something like that... then Cotto-Mosley would decide who gets The Ring vacant title.
