That would be the dumbest thing that Calzaghe could ever do. Not only would he be countered on the way in by short right hands, but he would also gas himself out by trying to knockout a fighter that has a granite chin and had fought bigger punchers than him and has only been knocked down in one fight against Mercado, which happened early in his career so you can make a case that peak Hopkins has never even been dropped. Calzaghe better box like he is use to or he could find himself being stopped himself.

I hear what ya all saying!!!But I do see Joe putting some hard punches on Hopkins..He will do his flurry as normal!! why would he try and hurt hopkins? thats the worst strategy he could use. calzaghe in no way could hurt or ko hopkins. if he trys to do that, then the fight definitley belongs to hopkins.

Thats just a myth Hopinks is no way gonna own Joe!Not in anyway that is, Are we talking about the same fighter??? !*** me Taylor turned Hopkins over, And Joe would make Taylor silly hands down..Some people just dont get it..There isnt a fighter like Calzaghe he is one of akind..He will stand toe to toe if Hopkins wonts it that way, But cant see it to be honest And there aint no way that Joe will come off worse, He has done this in nearly every fight, he comes to fight...Now I know Hopkins likes to fight on the back foot, You no the girly way, And counter and that ****, Maybe a younger Hopkins would have pulled off a win by doin that, But that **** is gonna get Hopkins in trouble not Joe. Just joking about "the washed up bit" Joe is the only one who can make this fight good to watch not Hopkins if this fight does not kick off in the ring we are in for one boring night of boxing dress it up as you like!! Joe can box smart and win on points all night long...Or Joe can come into this fight box smart then let Hopkins have a few heavy ones.
