you know i think thats one of the reasons why people mght not like calzaghe he doesn't have awesome devastating power whih he can use to KO someone. he's alwyas had power and when you wacth him when he was young he realize thats hes not afraid to how it (just ask eubank) but over time his brittle hands have let him down and they are one of the reasons why joe cal has said he only wants a few more fights.

instead joe cal has adapted and use his speed and vol of punches to overwhelm his opponents and score TKO'.s calzaghe can punch hard its just he chooses not to.

weve not really heard joe cals hand giving him too much trouble over the last few fights so im hoping that he'll continue for maybe 3/4 fights yet.

Sounds like you've been reading a recent boxing website article, almost directly quoting it. You wouldn't have said **** if you hadn't read that article. Think for yourself. Stop being spoon-fed.

Calzaghe is the business. End of story.

      Peace.

I'd also like to see him fight a few more fights (50 in total) and beat Marciano's record, but if Joe thinks it's time to quit before hitting the downward slope that all boxers face, then you can't blame him for doing so. It would be the wise thing to do. Joe has very little to prove now anyway.

It would have happened 6 years ago if Bernard hadn't backed out of the deal at the last minute.

he's fast with a high workrate, and when u connect on the button, u can floor anyone.. a lot of them are stoppages, not exactly devastating knockouts.. i'm sure his punches are effective, but i think a lot of it is the accumulation of punches, especially with lacy

Last time I checked Oscar didnt go down from a shot to the chin. If I remember correctly it was a shot to the body.

Name me someone else who has stopped Byron Mitchell, for example?

How about anyone else to have beaten prime Mario Veit, let alone KO'd him twice? (Inkin doesn't count, Veit was shot)

How about anyone else who has dropped Chris Eubank in the first round?

How about anybody to have dropped Jeff Lacy?

Maybe you have seen somebody else nearly drop an undefeated Champion, who is known as having a granite chin, in Mikkel Kessler?

Some videos are missing due to Frank "The Wank" Warren, but I think you get the idea. It's about time Americans started to show Joe Calzaghe the respect this truly great champion deserves.

I could not agree more, sir.

Those who say he merely "slaps" are either jealous of Big Joe or simply clueless.
