Hopkins is a 175lbs fighter who has been boiling down to 160 for years ,he has praised Calzaghe for getting down from Cruiserweight because he said i know how tough it is ive been doing it for years ,Hopkins was a natural 175LBS fighter anyway so going up and beating Tarver is not that impressive

Tarver had just lost how much weight in a short space of time aswell he was clearly weight drained ,we all saw how Roy Jones Struggled to get back down from Heavyweight Tarver was no different after the Rocky Movie

No he's not! Hopkins is a true middleweight, if you're referring to his first fight which he was out of shape, then you're wrong.

You can't dominate the middleweight division for over 12 years, if you're not a true middleweight, that's just not possible.

ive heard Hopkins say in a video that he boiled down to 160 for a quite a few years not his whole career but he was boiling down when he fought Tarver cause that fight happened in 2006 that is the relevant point

His first fight was at the weight he fights at now, are you saying he is out of shape now? Face it, he boiled down for 12 years. He is a natural Light heavy who made a name for himself beating welterweights. Wow.

Joe Calzaghe fan here. Luckily, Pavlik and Kessler will be around after Joe retires undefeated.

If you boil down to 160 for 13+ years, you will not be undefeated for 13 years. You will eventually get knocked out cause you're killing yourself to make weight and considering Hopkins started late in his career, that's not possible.

Hopkins is a true middleweight, so don't try to turn Hopkins into a natural light heavyweight cause he will PWN Calzaghe.
