    HaHA..

That one style had Mike ahead on the scorecards and winning the fight.

Casamayor deserves all the credit in the world for exploding in split second fashion when opportunity was there, but that was only possible when Katsidis was foolish. Casamayor couldn't create **** on his own. Period.

The footwork of Pacquiao and Hatton? You serious?

These are not guys you would want to show a young brawling type fighter and say to them :These guys have great footwork. You should try to emulate them."

Katsidis has footwork as good as these guys. Pacquaio's footwork is actually pretty bad. He is constantly off balance and over extending himself. Hence, the reason his losses, apart from Morales one, have been by awful KO.

Hatton can have some decent moments of footwork, but it is more his positioning than his footwork that is decent. Even then it is mostly not very good. He can sometimes get good angles like stepping to the right and coming in with left hook, but too often he just stomps his way straight in, squared up and bounces about to no effect....?

I think he was talking about that fancy breakdancing type footwork Pac does.

Then what about JUAN DIAZ? He is slow on his feet coming forward and just throw punches to worn his opponent down.. He got beat by past his prime Campbell in Juan Diaz's own game.

diaz....their two of the most elite in the division and their both coming off their first loss, katsidis' style would give diaz trouble because of his punching power but it would be a good fight.

I think Katsidis and Juan Diaz should fight eachother. It makes the most sense for both of them right now and that fight would be bigger than Casamayor-Campbell 2. Katsidis got anxious and thats where he blew it. He was up on the cards before the stoppage so to say that Casamayor would outbox him all day is assanine. As I've said time and time again, if Katsidis would get someone to teach him how to box and learn some defense, I think he would be a hard man to touch at lightweight and I think he's the kinda guy who will learn and prosper from his first loss. Same with Juan Diaz. As far as I'm concerned, both losses for both fighters I believe will actually turn out to be beneficial because they will come back with even more motivation next time around. I think both guys win rematches assuming they correct there mistakes in camp, along with the vets having the balls to give them the opportunity.

Smart thing for Katsidis & his camp to do would be to take the next year regrouping & adding some polish to his game.

Katsidis has got his name out there now, with a lot of interest in him, so there is no need to rush.

Get a gimme fight at home with your standard import for the confidence, then take on a few solid, durable journeymen over the next year while working on his skills.

Katsidis is a straight ahead brawling pressure fighter & that's not going to change, but spending more time focusing on:
adding a little more head & body movement,
work at coming in a bit lower,
using the jab to work his way in,
                & simply settling down a little bit & not getting so wild;
could still see him rise to be one of the big fighters in the game.

No need to rush in straight for another big match, & hopefully will choose the smart route.

First of all, what a great fight.

If you ****ers say anything negative about Kastidis... I hope you realize that the alternative is what you'll see on the 19th. Dancing. God dammit that was great. Major kudos to Casamayor for fighting with him (and, obviously, knocking him out)...

i don't see that special fighter in casamayor,
katsidis is a hard puncher and did not use his head,
in a re-match i think he can beat him
