i'm sure all these statements are true. i'm sure peter have shaved a couple years off his age theres no way he'd be sparring with a full grown man when he was 11 years old, even if he was a really big 11 year old. i'd bet peter was really 16 years old at the time and he's really closer to 35

a lot of fighters have lied about their age, especially heavyweights. the names that immediately come to mind are liston, and jersey joe walcott. no one really knew how old they were, liston and walcott probably didnt know either. im sure the're a lot more boxers who shaved off a few years off their bith certificate. no one really knows why, probably to pass for younger men, make themselves seem more compettitve as boxing is a young man's game.

with peter i dont know. it's not the 60s or 70s anymore, nowadays it's a lot harder to get away with something like a false age. everything gets cecked out thoroughly.
