It's pathetic that this has to turn into a Mexico vs. Philipines thing, every one knows that Mexico breeds the best boxers, ask any boxing expert or fan of the sport.
Just wait until he gets to the lightweights and you'll see just how good Pac is. He may have is speed but all of the top lightweights can punch. Except maybe Juan Diaz but he works you to death. I see Pac getting knocked back down to featherweight just as Most people on this site was whooping and hollering about Ricky Hatton . I've seen all of Pac's fights in the US and he's been rocked by featherweights a lightweight will knock him out for sure.
A lightweight knocking him out is a definite possibility..but FOR SURE??? Cmon man...The man hasn't been knocked down in 6 years let alone knocked out. The man is also the ring magazine's consensus hardest puncher p4p in the sport to go along with the speed. So what you are saying is also assuming that Pac doesnt knock them down 1st. or wont be able to keep them down. I know Marquez kept getting back up. but not very many fighters have the heart or cajones Marquez has to stand up to such a consistent beating. The lightweight division is no exception
As much as I would've wanted to see a third fight.
You're wrong big time.
Its not that there neck and neck skill wise. Its the obivious reasons(age, speed, no more counter boxer) for Marquez and Pacquiao attack and his willingness to take punchs and return fire. Marquez does everything tens folds better then Pacquiao but another thing is Pacquiao speed given him an edge in power department and he's younger that allows him to hang with Marquez.
I didn't understand that either. I heard from Arum about the rematch clause for Pacquiao. How can a challenger demand that to a Champion. First time I've seen it. Pac/Arum definitely dictated how everything should go.
SOMEONE advised him not to take the $750K offer but take a $30K fight and lose. Then that SOMEONE advised Marquez to accept a paycut in a desperation move to clinch a Pacquiao date which included a no rematch clause even if he is the champion. And they lost again.
Guess the **** who.
And this ***** was even whining during the post fight conference.
Pacman shoulda took the re-match. Not only would it have been a good fight and Pac would probably win, but i could imagine he would make some decent cash from it. He's got all the reason in the world to accept that fight, and he didnt.

HAHA!!! I believe i alluded to this on another thread already.
"We dont need this fight Juan. I dont care if it's more money than we've ever fought for. I'm concerned about your long term future. This Pacquiao kid put us on our ass 3times. It's too risky. But this Chris John kid....YOU CAN BEAT HIM FOR SURE JUAN!! Then once you've beaten the other best featherweight in the division...we'll move up a weight...THEN...The big money fights will come rolling in" LOL!!!
