So...what you are saying is that closing your eyes when you receive punches is an amateur trait. Ok...fair enough. But how does JMM get chunks of eyelid to fall out if he doesnt close his eyes when he gets hit as well??Comment

This- is a perfect example of just how good a promoter Arum is, compared to the others.Comment

HAHA!!! I believe i alluded to this on another thread already.
"We dont need this fight Juan. I dont care if it's more money than we've ever fought for. I'm concerned about your long term future. This Pacquiao kid put us on our ass 3times. It's too risky. But this Chris John kid....YOU CAN BEAT HIM FOR SURE JUAN!! Then once you've beaten the other best featherweight in the division...we'll move up a weight...THEN...The big money fights will come rolling in" LOL!!!
He did wonderfully well to re-habilitate himself to the level where he could fight Manny for $1.5 mill and his performance-even though I feel he lost- was very good and he'll get other big fights, if he doesn't get too "picky" again. I like his style and he has an excellent boxing brain. I thought that Manny was slipping a bit, not his usual, boisterous self, where he pins a guy to the wall and drills him. We all expect him to turn out a top whirlwind performance EVERY time. Styles make fights and he's right not to want to fight Marquez again, although he DID say that he'd fight him at 135. Manny also won the first fight, I just DON'T believe that a top pro ref would make such a mistake- by ACCIDENT. I don't know why, when he admitted he'd made an error, that the Commission could not have reversed the decision, corrected the scoring, and given it to Manny. He won it.Comment

Don't fool yourselves boys, the only reason why pac doesn't want a rematch is cuz he knows he has time to win money, while JMM is close to the end of the road. Watch him wait and then when JMM is almost 36 he'll be Brave and demand another fight. I just hope he doesn't wait another 4 yrs. Check out www.boxrec.com it has most fighters complete careers on there. Check out the comments on Pac vs. JMM II see what the experts saw that actually went and saw it ringside, not like most of these PPV watching "EXPERTS".Comment

People need to realize that Pac-man won the fight at least by 1 point(i had him up by 3) because of the knockdown. It was a good close fight, and the knockdown gave him the extra point. Get over it already. Facts are facts. Pac-man doesn't need to give him a rematch, because he has another division to conquer and 130lb is too harsh on him. If JMM wants the rematch, jump up to 135 lbs after he conquers 130. I gurantee there will be a rematch to create another great trilogy. But this is more dependent on JMM moving up. Pac-man going back down to 130? I doubt it.Comment
