Rees To Move Down, Eyes Amir Khan

This past weekend, Gavin Rees suffered the first loss of his career when he was stopped by Andreas Kotelnik in the twelfth and final round of their bout in Cardiff. He blames much of his loss to a hard left-hook that caught him on the ear in the fourth round. He says it bothered him for the remainder of the fight and he was never the same after the fourth. Rees losing means that Khan's path to an easy world title win is now closed, and so it's doubtful that the fight will take place.

Rees should definetley drop down in weight, he looked more like a featherweight on saturday night.

Exactly... Rees - Khan was only going to happen for one reason... Wank Warren wont even entertain the idea now.

He might do, I mean an Ex champ, one loss only, from the well regarded Calzaghe stable. Warren might lap it up.
