Is De La Hoya's Resume underrated?

I know for sure Espn said he was top 25 all time overrated but damn look at his resume. His losses have only been to all time greats, future hall of famers. Guys he has beaten at the 154 pound/160 pound division were recently world champions.

    De La Hoya Wins
    Ricardo Mayorga
    Felix Sturm
    Luis Ramon Campas
    Fernando Vargas
    Javier Castillejo
    Arturo Gatti
    Oba Carr
    Ike Quartey
    Julio Cesar Chavez 2xs
    Hector Camacho
    Pernell Whitaker
    Miguel Angel Gonzalez
    Jesse James Leija
    Genaro Hernandez
    John John Molina
    Jorge Paez

Damn i got tired typing all those names, all former world champions. A lot of elite fighters. I dont think that is overrated at all.

Along with Holyfield's they're the two best I've seen.

Because I'm totally familiar with the names on both respective lists.

I think it's fair to say there are a healthy number of people who post on internet chat forums that have no idea Oscar was in ranked by Ring magazine in the top 1, 2, 3, ect. P4P fighters for consecutive years..

Even during his peak alot of people mistook his celebrity and good looks for real accomplishment. He was/is very ****ing good at this..

If anything it's overrated. Most of those wins were against smaller men, washed up fighters, or he was given big time gift decisions.
