Thanks for posting this infamous KO.

It seems like the KO-punch was to the temple. When somebody is hit in the exact right spot they are loosing complete control. It's been seen lots of times. At the moment I can think only of Tyson vs. Berbick, but I know I've seen KO's via 'soft' temple-shots lots of times.

But hey I'm not the one who got hit. Could have been the soft spot.

But it is Ottke, I'm not giving him the benefit of any doubt. **** him. lol.

I hope Mundine got well paid.

No way did he take a dive. Look at the way his head moves. Ottke has hit him with a lucky punch from an unusual angle and it has sent him to the floor.

I don't think Mundine had ever taken a good punch in the face before that.

He had like, 10 pro fights (against bums and a split decision win over Soliman) before that and no amateur career... That explains a lot.

Ottke isn't a puncher but he was desperate and threw a haymaker (erm, atleast as hard a punch you'll ever see Sven Ottke throw) that landed right on the temple.

I could Take Sven Ottkes weak ass punch.

Mundine took a dive he was at the point where he wanted money and took the dive wasnt Mundine a rugby player? I remember hearing a story when he thought if boxing was for him or not early on...so him taking a dive is not a question from that punch its bull****, he lied down like he was dead...he took a dive or he just gave up.

                  cause that punch wasnt ****.

it wasn't a video game haymaker, rather it was a shot from in close. Something ain't right about that KO.

It was not a hard punch.

If people went down from punches like that all the time Joe Calzaghe would have KOd Jeff Lacy about 200 times.
