This is true, I have heard he lit up Ottke for most of that fight.

Maybe he just freaked out, wimped out and gave up.

At the end of the video the ringside doctor says (with a very heavy german dialect) that Mundine didnt know what round it was. Unfortunately I cant really understand what else he says. The dialect is much mure difficult than the Klitschko accent.

It seems like the KO-punch was to the temple. When somebody is hit in the exact right spot they are loosing complete control. It's been seen lots of times. At the moment I can think only of Tyson vs. Berbick, but I know I've seen KO's via 'soft' temple-shots lots of times.

It is a temple shot and Mundine had not had a dozen fights in his life at the time , no amature fights at all just a football champ turned boxer and only a few pro fights when he had a go at a WT ,,, he would KO Ottke these days and went the 12 with Kessler and KOed Soliman where Winky couldnt ,,,, Im far from a Mundine fan but digging this **** out of the closet is like showing Lennox Lewis getting iced by a nobody ,,, just nothing but mud raking .
