This wasn't a bad stoppage. A bad stoppage was that Andy Lee-Vera fight when the dumbass referee stopped the fight when Andy Lee was still landing shots and trading with Vera.

Yeah the ****ing ref is an idiot. He came back from getting dropped 2 times in the first round to dominate the fight and knock Casa out of the ring. Yet he got dropped with one punch, got up, came forward and was hit with one single punch and the ref stopped it. He robbed a young fighter who proved he can come back from being hurt of being the champ. ****ing robbery.

cmon yo...Katsidas was done man. After that left hook he was on wobbly legs and took 3 straight shots to his face. His eyes were in the back of his head. You can check it on the replay in slow mo.

Casamayor got my respect tonight though. He fought smart and wasnt afraid to trade. But Pac will body him.

Katsidis was badly hurt, good stoppage even though he was punching back, shows his heart.

The stoppage was pretty pussified although warranted.. Not the worst stoppage we've had.

Lots of pussified stoppages these days. In The Ring there is a great section of articles entitled "What If.."

Reading about Taylor vs. Pavlik I and what might have been if Smoger had stopped it early is a disturbing reminder of certain potentialities..

When refs stop these things the way they do people need to realize that any number of things could happen, or could have happened..

The referee knew he was still wobbled but he let him continue,

When he got rocked again after getting up the referee could see it would only get uglier.
