I never saw that fight, but yes, I would think so. How close was that fight? I did see Witter fight N'Dou live and he looked pretty good then.

I watched it live, Witter won 8 rounds IMO.

Judges scored it 115-114 and 117-111 though, some of the rounds were very very close.

Well Yes when someone that you have previously beaten comes back and becomes a champion then it reflects better on youy win, Andreas Kotelnik gave Witter loads of trouble with his defensive style and lost by a slim margin( Well Hatton Huggers would defer that).

No way Witter won 8 rounds, He find it difficult to get through Andreas Kotelnik's defence, I score the fight by a point to Witter..115-114...But some of the rounds WERE quite difficult to score though.

Kotelnik did look good, but to be honest Rees isn't world class, and it's worth remembering that Kotelnik lost to and drew with M'Baye, who looked pretty bad against Rees.

I'd like to see Kotelnik fight someone who isn't half his size and doesn't come straight at him, throwing powerderpuff punches and holding his hands low.

Yes..i did think Witter won some of the close round just because he was more offensive while Andreas Kotelnik was more content to seat back and wait for Witter to throw a punch, I dont Think Witter gets alot of credit for fighting and beating someone like Kotelnik just because he isnt a high-profile fighter. But this surely does make Witter resume look way better.

Seconded. Kotelnik was robbed both times, especially in the second fight.
