If it was true.. it should have worked for Mayorga in the DLH fight.

If people don't think Cotto has a chance in hell though then they are on some pure nutthuggery because this will be a close fight and Cotto has what it takes..

I thought that, but today i went back and watched some of his fights and he is a very echnically skilled guy and i very strong. His jab, imo, is very good and one key to beating Floyd is a jab (again imo) so Cotto would deffinatly give him trouble. I think Floyd would win but i think he would have to show his heart in the fight. With Hatton he was stronger an could throw him around but he will not do that to Cotto. I see a UD or SD for Floyd in a close hard fight.

To me it is a toss up and I laugh when people are so confident that Mayweather will run right through him especially after barely edging out a SD against DLH.

That's fine with me though now that I think about it, Mayweather has been in the game 6 years longer and is 3 years older then Cotto.. It only gives Cotto an age advantage.

this is one thing i've over looked.

i know cotto has beaten some of the same guys as mayweather but i never paid attention to the fact he knocked them out while mayweather just won decisions...

it is true that cotto has more power than floyd and tends to trade more so im sure some of this is the reason behind that...
