A very bad stoppage,Lee was hurt, but not to the point where the ref had to stop it

Lee was winning EVERY round,he even floored Vera and looked strong the round before the stoppage, there was what? 15 secs left,Lee landed a shot after Vera punched him and the ref stops it? one of the worst stopages ive seen,u cant even say Lee would have got stopped sooner or later,he wasnt taking a beating,he was handing the beating,a good minute after the round and he would have found his legs IMO

Accumalation. He was bound to go down.

Even Steward says he had no problem. Why should anyone else have one?

He was getting clobbered.. he would have went down either way and got Kayo'd.
        He lost.. Face it!
Fact is Vera took everything Lee could dish out and hurt him bad.. It was only a matter of time before the ten count or the towel came in.

Every fighter is hyped. Lee still has the skills necessary to win a world title.

Lee was still winning the fight. His performance might have been lacklustre but that doesnt take away from his ability.

What im more concerned about is the damage that loss will to do his career. And all because of a ****in bull**** decision.

          Man I'm ****in angry.

Horrible stoppage, Lee could have regrouped and won on points or by stoppage and I don't think he was getting stopped in that round without the BS. I've seen fighters looking defenseless and then firing back after the ref has stopped it. I have never seen a case where a fighter is stopped in the middle of the ring after he has landed a punch he has been landing all night.

I think the problem was the ref let the fight go a little too long with Lee taking a brutal ass beating, he should have stopped it earlier and nobody would have complained.

The thing is you have to look at the whole round and all those clean hard punches Lee was hit with, sure looking at the last 10 seconds with Lee throwing those two combinations makes it look as a premature stoppage. The truth though is the Lee had been out on his feet and was taking clean hard shots over and over.

              Wow was that fight great!!!

Actually if he would have went down Vera would have been winning the fight.

Point is he struggled with someone he should have beat easily..
He needs to get back in the gym regroup, rewatch this fight and work on what he did wrong.

Lee was taking a ton of shots. It was a bad stoppage, but I feel like Lee would have just gotten beaten up bad after that anyway, Lees punches didnt seem to be able to take out Vera, while Veras punches were splitting open Lee's face and hurting him bad.

Well said. This was one of the worst stoppages I've ever seen.

It will set Lee's career back, he loses the opportunity to make a lot of money.

Point is he wouldnt have been behind if he went down. He was ahead 6 rounds to 1 before the stoppage (including a 10 - 8 round).
