    JMM=Bad Decisions Ruin His Career?

    http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...2222&cat=boxer

    He is 48-4-1.

    First loss was his first boxing match way back in 93 and a first round DQ.

    His second loss way back in 99 to Norwood by UD.

    Third loss people say he wuz robbed in against Chris John. People say it's worse than Pac.

    Fourth loss most recently to Pac and people say he was robbed again.

    Is he one of the best or were the two decisions against John and Pac right?

        What I meant is do you guys think he should be undefeated or considered one of the best if those decisions went his way?

            naw, JMM isnt unbeatable. I personally think he should have lost against Barrera because of the uncounted knockdown. There is no denying though that bad management has not allowed him to reach his full potential as a star and legend. But then again, destiny is destiny. He will always be the 3rd or 4th Mexican legend.

              I think JMM is undefeated. Pac gave him the most trouble but imo he beat him twice. Morales avoided marquez, manny steward openly said Hamed avoided marquez, and when he finally fought barrera he beat him.

                I also think that JMM is undefeated....only if he hadn't lost.

                  wasn't barrera robbed during their fight. that looks more of a complete robbery than the one he had with pacquiao where he got knocked down.

                    Marquez's record is correct. He does have 4 losses in his career. Just against the wrong people. The DQ and Norwood were BS. Barrera beat him and Pacquiao twice. The John fight is hotly disputed but that really could have gone either way. John should be given credit for how competitive he made the fight because even if the fight was in the u.s. that decision would have still been up for grabs. And yes Bad decisions have played a huge part in a career i wouldn't exactly call ruined just yet. Morales offered a fight to Marquez first before offering to Pacquiao but Marquez refused. Had he taken the fight perhaps it would have been JMM that had a Morales trilogy and Pacquiao would still be a relatively unknown journeyman.
