This recent little squabble with Roger over training Forbes really annoyed me, as it comes on top of everything else he has done recently which disrespects the sport. None of this would matter if Mayweather were not making grandiose claims about his legacy already; the fact is it could still be solidified and live up to some of his claims while he is in his prime rather than squandered away for money (which should irk any fan).

Any fan of Floyd who wants to see him really fight was rooting for Forbes against DLH, but it seems clear now that if Forbes wins, Mayweather will likely lengthen his "retirement" out of spite at losing the big money. It's a lose-lose situation.

Yeah I'm getting tired of it. He needs to hurry up and fight Cotto. If he was fighting someone other than DLH(like Quintana or a top ranked welter) I'd be cool with it. He should give Miguel a fight late 2008 in Vegas.

I think Floyd will win for sure but he won't win untouched. Cotto may put some work in on his body. Cotto can make it a somewhat rough fight.

i want to see him fight cotto but u cant blame him for going for mo money. he has fought many good fighters to prove himself so i aint mad. but he should give the fans the fight they want at some stage.
