PBF could feel like Cotto takes punishment to give it. So PBF could feel like if Cotto remains undefeated and cleans out WW he will have been through wars and probably be slowed down a bit.

    Just a random thought.
Well honestly... I think in floyds head... he truly believes he can beat anybody... i dont think he thinks... cotto can beat him... i really dont.

Its a very risky gamble but the same one many others have played sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

Well, if Cotto loses to Marg or Cintron, then he it shows he wouldn't really deserve a fight with PBF. (Although I think Cotto has done enough to earn a fight with PBF right now)

Never said that and if I implied it I surely didn't mean to. Because I agree with you that. But at the sametime you have to take into PBF's age and 147 is 4 weight classes above where he started. Cotto is younger and only on his 2nd weight class.

No, Leonard played mind games with Hagler by saying that the fight would take place, then continuously canceling it. Once he seen the John Mugabi fight and seen how Hagler started to show his age and his legs were noticeably slower, he took the fight.

Mayweather is clearly avoiding Cotto. He is fighting other names that would not generate as much money as Cotto/Mayweather would. The De La Hoya or Hatton rematch would not be nearly as big as Cotto/Mayweather and he knows it. Floyd also never directly said that he wanted to fight Cotto. He simply doesn't want to fight Miguel. A fight between him and Cotto would be the biggest fight that could be made in the sport.

Its so irritating for me, because i see how TALENTED this man is, inside the ring... but he really wont fight any of the threats in his weight class...

I think he could beat Cotto... but the point is moot if he wont fight him...

I am a LITTLE torn though.. because i dont think Oscar SUCKS as much as he is depicted in this forum... he is the only fighter to give Floyd his closest fight on the scorecards to date... But I for one, didnt think it was even close to a split decision...

Conclusion: Fight the best, Or dont fight at all...

                    YOU?!
