I love Floyd, he i so talented and he had fought the number one guy in all the divisions he has been in. But, if he wants to be called the best welterweight he needs to fight all the consistently top guys. He fought Baldomir when he was number 1 but then he dropped off while Cotto and Margarito have been up there for ages.

I'm also a fan and its getting frustrating. I understand on why he is taking the rematch with Oscar. (because it was rather close and money purposes>>which I personally dont agree with) Then he talks about fighting Hatton in a rematch which is really not what fans want to see. Me as a Mayweather fan....I would prefer him fight Cotto after Oscar.(just my opinion)

Does any feel like what PBF is doing in terms of a fight with Cotto is the samething Sugar Ray Leonard did with Marvelous Marvin Hagler?

With the challenge that lie ahead of Cotto (winner of cintron/margarito), how "huge" will this be if Cotto were for some reason reason to lose? If this indeed what Floyd is what is doing, its a very risky gamble. Unless maybe that's what Floyd wants.

Along with that Ray Leonard kept denying that he would ever fight Hagler. Leonard also retired. But the biggest thing is that Leonard waited until he saw something as in Hagler slowing down with his fight with John Mugabi.

PBF could feel like Cotto takes punishment to give it. So PBF could feel like if Cotto remains undefeated and cleans out WW he will have been through wars and probably be slowed down a bit.
