"but its just to sell the fight", "why wouldnt Floyd just call Roger thats not real", "its all scripted".....it wasnt hard to to see Floyd had a legitimate concern with his trainer trying to ruin a major payday, yet some people think they know it all and thought that was all part of the plan, which made no sense, are yall happy now that it was proven to be real.

I think Jeff is an adequate trainer, and more significantly, Forbes has been around and probably not going to make any major changes. In other words, I don't think it will matter who trains him for this fight. Forbes will give it his best shot but he'll end up being badly outgunned.

Kudos to Steve Forbes for not trying to overplay a sympathetic figure or being noisey. Classy guy taking it in stride. Someone mentioned Forbes hiring Nacho Beristain, that would be a terrific pairing. Calm, smart corner with a similar fighter...good things!! On the converse, however, if Lou Duva were still able to be an over the top rabble-rouser putting him in Forbes corner alone would significantly improve Steve's chances against Oscar.

If I were Steve Forbes, Id hire the cheapest trainer possible, hell maybe just put a family member in there. Hes going to get knocked out regardless, might as well pocket most of the purse, than hiring a big money trainer who wants a large cut.

Steve Forbes is all class. We should be rooting for him because of this and not because we hate Oscar or don't want to see PBF-DLH 2.
