Of course it's about business. Forbes wasn't the one who walked away, Roger was the one who disappeared.

Floyd probably made him quit Forbes' corner so it wouldn't jeopardize his bout with DLH later in the year. Roger is still going to train Floyd.

This is all scripted shenannigans that will let the Mayweathers sell the 24/7 better. Roger signs on to train someone that is clearly a conflict of interests, gets fired and now his brother has the job? It's a pathetic attempt at a soap opera and i really hope no real boxing fans fall for this garbage.

Lets be realistic, it's not going to really matter who trains Forbes. He is meant to serve as a well paid sparring partner.

I know but Forbes still wants to win and I don't know if Jeff is the best trainer to try and help him do that.

Roger Chooses Floyd Jr, Forbes Hires Jeff

As reported earlier by BoxingScene's David Greisman, Floyd Mayweather Jr., during a live conference call to promote his WrestleMania appearance, threatened to fire his uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather, if his uncle continued to train Steve Forbes for his May 3 bout with Oscar De La Hoya. i'm sure Jeff Mayweather is determined to get revenge on Oscar.

after all, oscar knocked out jeff back in the days.
