Everlast Worldwide Inc., the famed manufacturer, marketer and licensor of boxing equipment, sporting goods, apparel, footwear, and other products under the Everlast brand name announced today announced a long term agreement with former IBF/WBA/WBO lightweight world champion Juan Diaz. The agreement allows Diaz to exclusively wear Everlast footwear, apparel and gloves for all professional fights and Everlast sponsored events. "Juan Diaz is one of the most skilled and exciting fighters in the sport of boxing, and a true champion in and out of the ring," said Matt Cowan, Director of Sports Marketing for Everlast. "His passion for the sport, and his commitment to education and the community embody the values upon which our brand was built. Everlast has a long heritage of world champions, and we are proud to make Juan a part of that legacy." As part of Diaz's contract, Everlast has agreed to donate to a cause related to education.
