If Hopkins beats him then he is one of the greatest fighters of the modern era. I can't even fathom it.

I doubt he would have beat Joe 6 years ago. He definetely won't win this one.

Stylistically Nard has a chance, but he has to up his workrate significanty. People discount workrate all of a sudden, but that's why Joe wins this fight. Nard is too old to keep up with the activity.

One or two sweet counter shot a round, aint winning ****.
i agree with you about him not being able to keep up with the workrate..
but i know that a prime 00-01 bhop would beat joe.. most definately.. if u disagree, watch some of his old fights.. johnson and echols to name a few

Yh, but Calzaghe isn't young anymore either is he?

However, i think he has got better as he got older tbh. I think if you put todays Calzaghe against the one that fought Eubank, the younger Calz would get beat. He evn admitted in his book hat he burnt himself out too quick in the Eubank fight, he would never do that today lol

He got outsmarted by the craftier fighter. I would never bet against Hopkins again even if he fights until he is 60. I would think no less of Joe because I still think he is one of the best in the world.

            The latter is extremely unlikely.

Hatton-Mayweather was a more evenly matched fight, and that was far from evenly matched
You are certainly underrating B-hop my friend. You are teetering towards having yourself look foolish if Hopkins comes out victorious. He hasn't lasted this long for no reason, I am almost positive Cal will win but Hop is as crafty as they come and he could spoil styles. This isn't a mismatch by any variation of the word, when was the last time you saw Hopkins dominated?

well the fight won't take place in ya mind! it'll be in Las Vegas at the Thomas & Mack Center on April 19th!

Now if Calz loses it will be because he lost to the better man! Bernard has made a career off proving the boxing critics wrong!

If ya ever been wrong before, it's a good chance you can be wrong again!
