Has anyone even seen Lockett fight? I looked at his record and I didn't even recognize one name on it. Most of the guys he's beat have multiple losses.

      Have a look.

He used to fight on sky sports alot. he was a light middle with a half decent dig. he has never ever been in with anyone tho who can crack like pavlik.

Yeah he was on sky sports a lot a few years back so i've seen a lot of his fights. he really isnt that impressive to be honest. he's got good power, at least at light middle he did, and he's steadily becoming a better boxer. Pavlik will absolutely destroy him.

I suppose its nice to see that he believes in himself though, unfortunately for him no one outside the calzaghe camp thinks he even has a chance.

true but he already lost one of those to a random Russian when he had melt down.

              Nothing tangible to lose.

Even if he gets taken out in the first round at least he has fought for a world title. That's good going.

If Lockett was a solid middleweight i'd give him more a chance.

It been the year of the upsets so who knows, seem like these big time fighters are making a habit of over looking the guy in front of them.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=VZuHoByPbi4 - same interview but video

not sure about his attitude, this is the biggest fight of his career surely he should be more enthusiastic about this.

Lockett could pull of a upset, for me Pavlik is there to be beaten. But I doubt Lockett is the man to do it but he does have Enzo in his corner :P and maybe some sparring with Calzaghe will help!
