I havent ever heard of Lockett. Cant some of the welsh posters provide some more info? I've got some basic questions:

1) Who did he beat to qualify for a shot at Pavlik?
2) Has he got any chance at all?
3) Are Pavlik a bigger favorite than Tyson over Douglas?
4) Are Lockett from Italy like the rest of the welsh boxers......?

I just checked no. 5 myself and YES. He is italian and his name is Giuseppe Loccettoni. He hails from Corleone.

Lockett could pull of a upset, for me Pavlik is there to be beaten. But I doubt Lockett is the man to do it but he does have Enzo in his corner :P and maybe some sparring with Calzaghe will help!

like it helped macarinelli! i have yet to be impressed by uk fighters, wen it comes 2 the big stage they nut up and get ko'd or beat dwn. calzaghe is the last hope! his dad has been on a terrible streak of late by the way.

going by record and level of opposition, lockett doesn't stand a chance, unless he fights the perfect fight and pavlik comes in hung over and still drunk from the night before.

anything can happen in boxing, but i seriously doubt that lockett is going to make it to the 7th round in this fight.

who knows, pavlik has been down on the canvas before and could very well get stopped in this fight, he could be pavliks nemesis, but not in all likelihood.
