Sorry but manny lost some of his aura of being the best fighter in the world. He got outboxed again by marquez. Of course they don't want a third fight. lets go after some paper champ like david diaz who didn't even win the title in the ring, he only got it because casamayor got it stripped.

So get the heck outta here implying JMM woulda accepted an immediate rematch had the roles been reversed because he knows hes been dropped 5x in 2 matches and would get dropped 2or more times again in a 3rd fight. There is nothing regular about JMM or Pac. As it stands Pac has a 5-1-1 record against the mexican 3 who are or were all ranked top 5 p4p. He's 1 of 9 in history to get lineal titles in 3 weight classes. Should he become undisputed lightweight champ becomes the only boxer to get a lineal title in 4 weights and Floyd gets dethroned from number1 forever.Comment

If JMM wants to win a fight, he should AVOID getting KNOCKED DOWN. How can you say you are a better fighter if you were KNOCKED DOWNED 4X in 2 fights by Pacquiao... THIS IS BOXING!!! You show you are a better boxer clearly by KNOCKING OUT your opponent. Scoring points may win you a fight but it does not mean you BEAT the guy.
If you cant accept the facts and the results...stop BOXING. Play with your computer or better with a playstation where I think your scoring punch may win you a fight with pacman or if you're lucky you may have the chance to knocked pacman out!!!Comment

Huh?????? I feel where you're coming from but what you said made absolutely no sense. Pacquiao has never clearly knocked out JMM either so i dont know what you are ranting about. I think what you meant to say was that Pacquiao wasnt outright outboxed like the popular train of thought seems to be plus he has 5knockdowns in actuality. 1 of em just wasnt official. Outboxed is what mayweather does to all his opponents. It works for him because he dictates the pace of the fight and has an overwhelmingly high connect rate over his opponents. That was not the case in this fight. Both fighters had similar connect rates neither fighter dominantly dicated the pace. Therefore JMM did not outbox Pac. When both fighters land about the same amount of clean effective punches a judge must go by the other variables such as who was the more agressive fighter in a particular round and who was landing the harder punches. which pacquiao was..ergo the scorecards reflected that. One thing that hasnt left my mind tho is that even tho JMM always does a great job of counterpunching and he considers himself to be the best counterpuncher in boxing today...he was gettin countered an awful lot by a subpar boxer in pacquiao in that fight wasnt he?Comment

Pac-man was never outboxed! The punch count was 15 punches different between the two. Outboxed would of looked like Lueveno/Jandaeng 170-80. To be an outboxer and counter puncher, you must outpunch your opponent by a huge margin or knock him out like what Floyd Mayweather Jr. does to a lot of boxers. Besides, it goes by rounds won and to win rounds, you have to be aggressive, and that was Pacquiao 75% of the time. JMM simply never got Pacquiao close to falling down. Pacquiao did it 4(really 5) times. You can just tell it will always be a close fight with Pacquiao edging the scorecards with knockdowns.Comment
