I think he is a pretty good fighter but the nuthuggers on this forum really made me hate him for a while. Then i realized that i hated them not him and now i like him as a fighter, but i don;t think he is the best fighter around tbh.
Is it me or is Margarito a joke?

I don't think he's a joke, but he gets a lot of extra criticism b/c he has a bunch of fans run around talking about him like he's superhuman and everyone's affraid of him.Comment

Laugh all you want I sincerely think Margarito is the #3 man, would beat Willams in a rematch, Quintana, Cintron, and myabe Cotto.Comment

**YAWN**What yall think? To me he is a joke. He's a second-rate fighter. Don't want to call him a bum, but he's not there with the upper crust of the welterweight division. People really want to see him against Floyd but imo he doesn't stand a chance. He never has impressed me, he lost decisively to Paul Williams, another average fighter. Margarito should have lost to Joshua Clottey. And to me, Antonio can't beat an aged Sugar Shane Mosley.
Hasn't this been repeated like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000x times already? Just wait until April 12th, then you'll see who's gonna dominate the Welter division from that point on.

He he fights to his potential, he could beat anyone in the division. He is too inconsistent though overall. Sure he will beat Mr. Sorehands again, but throwing some wins together in a row seems impossible for him.Comment

Good post...I believe that he will soon show how good he really is. He is huge for a welterweight, I wonder if he will move up or stay at welter and try to "scare" the welters behind Top Rank's brilliant "Most Feared Man in Boxing" campaign, time will tell....i think Kermit the frog is posed and ready for him this time around as wellComment

Why isn't $8 million enough to fight a second rate fighter considering it would be a career high payday? What yall think? To me he is a joke. He's a second-rate fighter.
