What yall think? To me he is a joke. He's a second-rate fighter. Don't want to call him a bum, but he's not there with the upper crust of the welterweight division. People really want to see him against Floyd but imo he doesn't stand a chance. He never has impressed me, he lost decisively to Paul Williams, another average fighter. Margarito should have lost to Joshua Clottey. And to me, Antonio can't beat an aged Sugar Shane Mosley.

Mosley would pick Margarito apart. I don't think he's a joke but the way some people talk about him is as if he hits like Tommy Hearns and has a great resume. He won a vacated title. He has some good wins but he is not who he(or his fans) think he is.

I don't think highly of Cintron either.

Margarito destroyed Cintron whos top 5 he wanted Mayweather for years but of course Mayweather has other plans, he beat a very tough fighter in Clottey, no one wants to fight the guy if theyd fight him hed have a better resume.

He is highly ovverrated on this board by many. He is to predictable at time. He is a tough fight for anyone but nobody special IMO.

he's another contender, he just gets backlash because Top Rank pushed him so hard as "the guy everyone especially Mayweather is scared of" to try to make up for the fact that they didn't promote him well for years.
