I just dont see how this can be a good thing for boxing. If anything, it benefits WWE for all the Floydfanatics who will tune in, and purchase thier ppv in order to see Floyd. In return, i dont see WWE fans tuning in and paying for boxing ppv's. As u will read, the majority of them dont even like Floyd.

I agree, but as u see, unlike past celebrities who have appeared in wrestling, Floyd is despised by the WWE fans. I feel this whole stunt was a waste of time, and a blow to boxing.

Boxing success isn't predicated on Mayweather outside of the ring. It has nothing to do really. His popularity or infamy isn't affected either. He has his fans and he has his haters and that will never change. That's how I see it.
