Mabuti ako, musta na sa kabayan? I am still writing for BoxingScene.com and PhilBoxing, plus Boxing Digest Magazine.

Back on subject, I don't buy into Sulaiman's claims either. He has very little room to speak of in reference to credibility in these instances. He has his own agendas.

The problem is that there is a flawed situation in place.

Its funny how some say that they had Marquez up by 2 points when the only way possible would be a draw 10-10 round. And there were no 10-10 rounds. It was either one man or the other that took the rounds. The rounds won total were very close, but I don't think any round was close enough to be scored a 10-10. If anything was a robbery, it was the 2nd knockdown in Round 3! Holding the ropes on your way down is considered a knockdown, because if it wasn't there, he would of been down. Saying only Filipinos think Pacquiao won is BS! Lederman and the whole HBO cast said Pacquaio won. Are they Filipino? I am not Filipino either and a lot of people I have talked to who aren't Filipino and Mexicans that I know who were rooting for JMM thought Pacquiao won. In fact, I haven't talked to anyone who thought Pacquiao lost, besides the internet nuthuggers here.

Many writers had Marquez winning. You using Harold to support your claim is not that convincing, you know he also had Ricky Hatton in the fight and scored Hopkins-Wright a draw right? There are many people besides fans that think that Marquez won or it wouldnt be an issue, does it matter? of course not, Pac got the decision and is considerd the champion, but to think the only people that had Marquez winning were fans is completely wrong.

Not that it's super applicable to Pac and JMM here but the duplicitous nature of "The Ring" isn't unique to being owned by Oscar. There was a time not long ago that John Luiz lost to Valuev but The Ring ranked Luiz ahead of Valuev because they belived the decision to be too controversial to allow Valuev to be rated higher than Luiz. That's only the most recent example, though by no means as significant. The point is though that The Ring has scored fights different than the official fight judges and exercised apparent double standards with and without regard to official scoring. The Ring appearing hypocritical is nothing new, this just may be the most egrigious case.

ring mag is just expressing what most at ringside and at home saw. i thought it was 90%.

What are so many people bitching about? This has happened in many big title fights that was given to the guy most people had losing. As many have also already said.

They had Marquez winning, as did most people I think, but that doesn't mean they are going to go against the official ruling. In post fight articles The Ring has often given their editors scores of the fight whether they matched the official ruling or not. It has nothing to do with Oscar or GBP or any bias! They do this for every big fight!

It just happens that most knowledgeable people had Marquez winning including The Ring guys. There have been many articles exactly the same as this where they have awarded the official winner of the fight with 'The Ring Belt' whilst giving their own scores of the fight which have not matched the official scores. After all, why would they not. They're a magazine who are paid to write their opinions on boxing, not just tag along with who got the official decision.

The Ring has stated numerous times that they go by the OFFICIAL results, not whom won on their scorecard.

They said they thought Hopkins won the first Taylor fight, but went with the official decision of Taylor and awarded him champ.

They disagreed with the Casamayor-Santa Cruz decision, but didn't award Santa Cruz the belt because they felt he won.

                Same thing here.

exactly, if you actually read The Ring, they had several articles disagreeing with that taylor fight and how the next one might play out. The ring scorecards have sometimes had disagreements with the judges, you people are ****ing ridiculous looking for the easy scapegoat.

This isn't to do with Golden Boy.

Bill Detloff stated independently that he had JMM ahead by 2 rounds.

So did many other media outlets, they are entitled to a different opinion to the judges.
