He has struggled with a lesser opponent in Amonsot and was busted up badly in that fight. He has also had a war with Gram Earl, who Amir Kahn just knocked out in the first round. I honestly think that hes a bit overrated. To me, he seems like a one dimensional ****er. Pure boxers like Casamayor feasts on opponents like these. The ring rust showed in Casamayor's last fight but he should look better than ever now.

I can see Casamayor losing, but nobody has ever come close to KO'ing him. If you look at who they both have fought there is absolutely no comparison in quality of opponents. If Joel has anything left he should outclass Katisidis.

There is no chance in hell Casamayor is winning this fight, the guy is old as hell and after that fight against Santa Cruz I've totally lost respect for him as a fighter, he should just hang 'em up after the beating Mike is going to inflict on him. Katsidis TKO in 6 rounds. I said it bitches!

The Graham Earl who fought Amir Khan was nothing more than a shadow of the fighter who stepped into the ring against Katsidis. Katsidis ruined him. After that fight, Earl's team advised him to retire. He refused, and incidentally was KO'd in less than a minute in his next fight.

Anyway, Casamayor would have toyed with Katsidis, if this was maybe 4 or 5 years ago. But it isn't, and not only should he have a loss on his record to Jose Santa Cruz, but Kid Diamond as well. His legs are gone, and the old man won't have enough to keep Katsidis off him for 12 rounds. Though, I'm willing to bet, Casa's headbutting/Katsidis' cutting will become a big factor in the fight.

Santa Cruz, his opponent, won almost every round, yet the judges gave Casamayor the win. Many sportswriters and other people in boxing said it was the worst decision they'd ever seen.

Katsidis faced a better southpaw in his last fight. Casa is shot. All he has left is his ring smarts and toughness. He gets knocked out late.

People forget he looked average against Corrales two Octobers ago and drew with Kid Diamond not long before that. He hasnt been impressive in a while.

People also said that Tyson recked Razor Ruddock after Lennox stopped him easily, which was completely not true. Its just an excuse, it was a hard fight but many fighters come back after having many of wars. He is in one hard fight and all of a sudden hes shot? He also only had one loss at the time as well. You have fighters like Gatti and Diego Corales that can have three fight trilogy's and could still complete on the elite level. He was not shot. Kadsitas has also had a war with Amonsot, who was not even ranked top 15 in the lightweight division.

Again, Casamayor hasn't fought since he beat Corales back in 2006. He was ring rusty and hasn't fought in 2 years. I have a feeling that experience is going to set in in this fight. Casamayor simply has to box and move. Kadsitas is going to catch numerous shots on the way in because he does not have great defense. He will be hit at will. Kadsitas is a good fighter, but the experience and boxing ability of Casamayor will be a major factor in this fight.
