Simple solution, use "Pressrow Scoring" like Showtime does.

I'm not saying I don't like Harold Lederman, but if you don't it's a good solution.

Personally I like the pressrow scoring feature on Showtime.

There is no excuse for some of the rediculous scoring he does. Scoring the first 3 rounds Diaz Campbell Diaz when the round were blatantly Campbell Diaz Campbell is inexcusable.

Campbell was getting jobbed in the first 4-5 rounds of that fight.

Lederman generally isn't that bad. A lot of the time his scoring in close fights generally just pisses off manic internet people. Williams/Quintana was a great example. Close fight, could have gone to Williams (and almost did), but the tenuous yet ardent Paul Williams bandwagon fell apart within seconds of his loss, and what was left grossly exaggerated the completeness of the upset; the detractors' confidence immediately bolstered to Napoleonic proportions.

Then again, what the **** was he thinking, giving the 12th round to Pac?

The press row idea is the best, because it shows how different people are seeing the fight. I believe this shows if people are getting robbed or if there really are just other ways to see it. If all of press row has one guy winning and the judges have something different its obvious something is wrong.

harold is a joke now. I always knew not to really believe him, but the time I really stopped acknowledging him was recently in the Hopkins-Wright fight. I believe he had it a draw and it wasnt even close. I like when Max does fights because he even points out that Harold isnt speaking for him, probably because usually Harold is wrong, especially lately.

Bringing Max on and phasing Larry out might have been HBO's way of trying to act progressive, but HBO's broadcasts are kind of stale right now.

They need to switch up the production and get some new blood in there in some capacity. If it was Lampley and not Steve Albert on Showtime, that would be a much, much better telecast.

Lampley, Bernstein & Farhood would be my desired announce team and I like the "press row scoring" better than Lederman too...

I really like that too. I have to admit that it will be a little weird without Lederman going 'OK JIM!!!' every second and everything...but really, Lederman's scoring is getting worse and worse. hate to admit it, but yea.

Pressrow scoring sounds like a great idea to me.
