I vote yes. He did really good the last two weeks or so, but his scoring for Mayweather-Hatton was the worst I've seen in a long time. He had Hatton winning like 4 rounds when everybody else gave Hatton one or two. I think he just hates Floyd.

I voted yes... his judgment has been "off" for quite some time now! He talks about "ring generalship" but as long your coming foward with (effective) aggression then it cancels out the other criteria & you can get the round on his card...

He does get a few rounds wrong here and there, like round 12 in the Marquez-Pac II fight when he gave it to Pac when it was clearly a Marquez round.

            get the clown outta there.
he should take that buttplug out of his ass to get rid of that squirrelly
voice of his. then maybe he could concentrate on the fight.

Ummm...Yea....Those are both a big part of scoring a round. It'd be different if Pac wasn't landing... If Marquez was making him miss - but he wasn't. So who you gonna give a close round to? The guy who's sittin there waitin for punches to come at him and counterpunching, or the guy who's pressing the action and landing? Easy answer...

              That being said... Lederman sucks

I agree with the statement.....Lederman lost it a while back 1-2 years ago. PBF-Hatton was pitiful....."I gotta tell you something, that round Floyd didn't have enough lateral movement.....gotta give the round to Hatton". Holy **** I didn't know lateral movement was a criteria for scoring,
                aggressiveness-check,
                clean effective punching-check
                defense and ring generalship-check
lateral movement-no check sorry you lost the round

There were a few other fights that were horendous but that lateral movement was the first thing that came to mind.

How old is Lederman anyways? There should be mandatory eyesight checks for judges refs and Ledermans.

I agree, but a lot of times too the announcers even don't have the fight right, and mislead the fans. We're talking about HBO lol. The CompuBox numbers are sometimes just as bad as the Olympic scoring.

But then again, WHO IS RICHARD SCHAEFER? He comes from being a Swiss Bank Executive... No knowledge of boxing really except for what Oscar tells him

                      Did he?

I think HBO wanted Hatton to win honestly..

Although Floyd is clearly their big investment.. And a good investment he is.
