    Just Rewatched "Unfinished Business"

Here is how I scored the fight, as neutral as possible. This was actually an easy fight to score.

    Pac / Mar
    1. 10 9
    2. 9 10
    3. 10 8
    4. 10 9
    5. 9 10
    6. 9 10
    7. 10 9
    8. 9 10
    9. 10 9
    10. 10 9
    11. 10 9
    12. 9 10

    Pacquiao - 115
    Marquez - 112

Notes: Pacquiao pushed the fight the whole time. Marquez did not throw enough jabs. Pacquiao's defense is greatily improved. Marquez is still a good counter puncher, just did not do enough. The decision is just and warrented.

*Compubox punch output favors Marquez, in which he landed around 15 more overall punches. This is attributed to Round 8, in which Marquez outlanded Pacquiao, 21-5 punches. More punches overall doesn't win fights. Fights are won by Rounds and Pacquiao won more.

anyone who scores rounds 1 and 11 to pac is far from nuetral. as a matter of fact it shows blatant bias and this is why.

pac stans score round 1 to pac because according to them, "he landed more shots" but everyone agrees marquez landed the more effective punches. but when the punch stat numbers come out, according to pac stans, even though Marquez landed more shots, Pac won because he landed the more effective punches.

      which one is it then?

        Blatant bias? Nope.

I scored Round 1 for Pacquiao because he did land more punches. So what if Marquez landed 1 or 2 good shots? He got hit a lot more. It's that easy.

Round 11, yes - is arguable. It was very close, but I have to give it to Pacquiao. He did enough to win the round, just enough to edge out Marquez.

Even if I was to be generous and give the Round to Marquez - then Pacquiao would have still won - by score of 114-113, which is final decision that won it for Pacquiao.

There is no blatant bias in my score. I try and score it as fair as possible.

I can see why the judges scored the way they did. They made the right decision. Pacquiao won the fight, it was close but he did enough to win and deserves the spoils of victory without being called a robbery.

Round 1 was Pacquiao's. JMM landed one good right hand and did nothing for the rest of the round, Pacquiao was at least hitting him with body shots. Round 11 was very close and could've gone either way, I gave it Pacquiao but have no problem with anyone giving to JMM.

It's easy to see that Pacquiao landed more and won the first round. This is the general consensus, it's that clear. The punch numbers for Round 1 is Proof.

Marquez can not win the fight by landing a few counter punches. He did not do enough! It's ****ing simple.

                Thank You.

Honestly, I think the score of 115-112 for Pacquiao is the right score.

I know you didn't. I just threw my analysis' into there because that's what Marquez did all night - counter punch. He got 1 or 2 good shots in the first Round. All night he was hesitant. What happened to him being more offensive minded like boxing analysts were saying and expecting? He played ***** and tried to counter all night.
