    Lets take Floyd for example. He only gets hit by 18% of his opponents punches. If they average 500 punches thrown a fight, that is still 90 punches a fight. 90* 30 fights = 2700 punches to the head, plus sparring. Generally you spar atleast 7 rounds for every round of a fight. so lets take that 2700 punch number and multiply it by 7 for the punishment taken sparing. That is a total of 21,600 punches that Floyd would have taken over just 30 fights.

    Now, considering that every fighter takes punishment differently, the fact that Benitez ended up with brain damage is not surprising. Getting punched in the head is not conducive to brain health
    I stand corrected on the brain damage, not on the training habits though.
