I'm picking Jorge Barrios over Rocky Juarez

Yeah, i think the styles make for a great fight. Very tough fight to call.

It's almost guaranteed to be fireworks if you compare/contrast.

I think I'm set in my views however. By default Barrios will throw more punches, Juarez will land the more "meaningful" ones. We'll go from there.

I'd **** bricks if Juarez came out throwing like Guzman did though.

Guzman did really good despite the fact that Barrios out weighed him.
I heard Barrios trained to make weight that whole training camp though rather then to fight.. Not that it would have made a difference against Guzman.

actually if i recall correctly guzman outweighed barrios on fight night by a pound or two even though barrios was the one who failed to make weight

What Guzman did was ****en classic! He gets a bad rap but hes a gifted fighter and i enjoy seeing him fight, especially when he fights like he did against Barrios, that **** is legendary.

It's cool because it was totally unexpected.

I mean everyone knows Guzman can fight, but he does rely on the cautious style and lol one would think he'd at least start off in that style against a vicious, hard nosed, slugger who just constantly attacks.

I got Barrios too. Is it just me or does Rocky now fight like a HeavyWeight? I mean he throws very few punches while waiting for that 1 big KO shot. He's lost all sense of work rate and combinations even against guys he totally out classes like Hernandez.

He just waited for a big left all night.....he landed one and dropped Hernandez but still couldn't put together combo's to finish him....it has and will continue to hurt him against better fighters.

Rocky does good against mid level competiton, i see him being able to tactically pick apart the wild Barrios who i feel has lost something.
