Because Witter has a awkard switch hitting style that would beat Hatton or create a ugly match. Hatton should of taken the match instead of Lazcano and just showed what sort of boxer he is. I was a Hatton fan but hes pissed me off with his hypocrisy since hes left Warren hes had fights with Urango, Collazo, Lazcano & Maussa what's been the difference? I thought Hatton was suppose to be going for big fights only since he left Warren. I give him credit for fighting Castillo & Mayweather, but who would turn down that money and crack at the best in the sport for that sort of money no one would. i dont think any of you lot would fight witter in hattons position. its a hard fight, its lose-lose for hatton (he gets criticised for not fighting a world class competitior if he wins, he becomes a joke if he loses) and witter has been such an arsehole over the years it would be hard for hatton to give him a pay day. I dont think hatton is 'ducking' as such, i just htink while there are so many other viable fights why bother giving witter what he wants?
