Wait, HATTON-LAZCANO will NOT be televised by HBO/SHOWTIME but...

WILL be shown on US TV??? That doesnt make any sense? Is there a Network deal? Cause i doubt Hatton could do good ratings on Network TV here in the states...

This better be shown here in the US. Its gonna be crazy to see 55,000 fans watch Hatton knock the **** out of Lazcano. lol

Hbo and Showtime didn't feel like paying hatton for a joke ass fight that he should easily be able to win by ko.

didnt hatton sign a 2 fight deal with hbo? thats odd.

I dont know who else could pick it up. Maybe a low budget pay per view?

Yeah, it said in the contracts that it was 2 legit boxers and not a journeyman. Junior Witter made hatton piss his pants for the past years. Witter ko's Hatton under 3 rounds, and embarrasses hatton.

I thought it was all about American TV Hatton? the only thing Hatton cares about is money, having the fight on PPV in the UK is a joke considering he said "its for the fans".

Witter will fight hatton for peanuts, so why doesn't hatton take that fight?

Hatton is a big jr. welterweight yet Lazcano is a bigger jr. welterweight. Lazcano hasnt' fought in years if not many months. Other wise its a good scrap. Hatton and Lazcano is going to be a phone booth fight.

Hatton doesnt make the decision to put a fight on PPV or not. Thats up to the promoters and the TV networks. De La Hoya is his own promoter so he was able to make that decision with HBO.

He did however, get the tickets for the fight to be VERY cheap and they are absolutely flying off the shelves. All 55,000 seats will be sold shortly, 45,000 already sold.

i dont think so. He had a 3 fight deal with HBO but that ended with Mayweather i think. And HBO doesnt do those multi-fight deals anymore they say. They say it discourages the fighters from taking serious challenges because if they lose they might lose the contract, or something like that
