Except, I presume, when he wouldn't sign a contract until a fight with Witter was part of the deal.

witter is not near the fighter floyd is. he also fights in a much different syle than floyd. please. whether hatton ducks him or not is what it is, but comparing him to floyd is a comedy act man.

While I do think that Hatton has been on the slide since his fight with Collazo, he has enough to take Malignaggi. Malignaggi just doesn't have enough power to get respect from Hatton. Unless you're a massive guy like Lennox Lewis, it's almost impossible to win at the top with only a jab.

Do I think Hatton is ducking Junior Witter? Absolutely. Hatton's team has changed their tune every other week, saying they'd never fight Witter because he's a nobody, then they claim they offered Witter a contract and Witter. Witter then went to the press and said he'd fight for peanuts. Hatton's team had retracted any lopsided offer they had made, or claimed to have made.

Hatton's team saw the opportunity to make some money without the possibility of their guy getting knocked out.

            Completely stunned.

I might even secretly root for Paulie once the fight starts and it becomes apparent he is in for spanking.
Yeah but your from London, you were just as stunned when Floyd dominated ricky.

I think Malignaggi will beat Hatton by Unanimous Decision.

Hatton has ducked the ever so dangerous Witter all these years to fight the lesser guys like Kostya, Collazo, Castillo and pbf.

                End of thread...

Yes he has ducked Witter to fight

An ols Kostya Tszyu, the worst welterweight champ at the time Collonzo and more shot-than-50-cent-Castillo. We all knew he was never gunna beat pbf, some of us, like me, didn't want to admitt it. btw, im actually a Hatton fan

He says he will not give Junior Witter a payday cause of the trashtalking but then goes and signs a deal with to fight, and therefore give a payday to Paulie Malignaggi-who has also been trashtalking him..

Does he want everyone to desert him??

Anyone else pissed off at this??
For his entire career he has been picking and choosing, ducking and dodging. This decision to fight Paulie stays in line with Hatton's ways of picking easy fights against weak titleholders. The guy is a joke and more people are starting to realize this. I'm sure he's taking less money for a Malignaggi fight than he would get for a Witter fight.

Thats likely, although more so is the fact he says tha he gives the fans what the wand but actually teh fans want Witter. So unfortunatly, he isn't giving the fans what the want.
