It's highly unlikely to happen, but I'd love to see that fight! Chagaev would be a much better opponent for Haye than the overweight, shot Rahman.

Chagaev will probably not fight a third time in 2008 and perhaps will unify with Wlad in 2009. Of course, Valuev may win his fight with Ruslan...

Valuev vs. Haye in 2009 would be interesting!

As much as I like Chagaev, I fear he might lose to Valuev. I don't like that he has to rematch a guy who weighs 100 lbs more than he does. You can only outbox a guy that big for so long. And the German TV stations treat Valuev like HBO used to treat Oscar.

I agree. Good first fight for Haye. Plus, no offense to Rahman or his fans but if and when Haye beats him perhaps Rahman will then be obliged to retire.

However it also must be said that if Rahman is able to land a big punch in the first or second round and Haye gets Ko'd, it could also be the end of Haye being taken seriously as a heavyweight contender.

I know you and Vodkaski are jealous of Haye being a dish, Mini, but even I'm surprised at your attitude here... this is the guy's FIRST fight at heavy (yes, I know he had a trial, but this will be the proper move up). Fighting a guy who is still ranked top 30 and still dangerous enough to compete with probably 95% of the division is not a bad first fight at all IMO. I'm surprised you said that... I guess you're a freakin' hater.
got to disagree with your last couple sentences. have you even seen rahman's last few fights? he has nothing left. he cant even snap a jab anymore and his right hand is so slow and inaccurate anymore. he absolutely cant compete with 95% of the divivion anymore. anyone in the top 20 would beat him easily. anyway,,,,I think this is a smart fight for haye. it will make him look good and isnt a big risk

moorer only took 4 months to go from 175 to heavyweight, i dont see why haye needs 8 months. that seems excessive.
