I thought pac won 8 rounds. I guess its just how people score. The rounds that are causing the most trouble are rounds 1 and 12. If you take them out. I think pac won more rounds and caused much more punishment.

I think the compubox numbers are what is putting people in a uproar. Fights are judged by rounds not compubox numbers.

Looking back I guess you could score round 7 for Pacquiao, but that still makes it 114-113 for Marquez.

Round 1 - Even
Round 2 - Marquez- Didn't hurt Manny in the last combo but sure made him stutter step.
Round 3 - HOLY ****!!! What a shot by Manny!! ****, Marquez was winning that round too. Manny's round

Round 4 - Manny's round, but it was close.
Round 5 - Marquez's round. Manny needs to be more aggressive and throw a one-two.
Round 6 - Marquez's round. He landed some nice combos in that round.

I have it even after 6.

Round 7 - Marquez's round. Getting the better of Manny in the exchanges.
Round 8 - Marquez's round. Nice shots by JMM.
Round 9 - Closer round, but I still gave it to Marquez.


Round 10 - Manny's round. Excellent fight.
Round 11 - Tough round to score. EVEN
Round 12 - Another tough round to score, but I'd give it to Marquez.



I'm a Manny fan, but he didn't win this fight. At best, it was a draw.

I had Marquez winning 116-113-being that even rounds are scored 10-10.

I had round 1 even, round 11 even, and I could see where some would score round 12 even; but I gave round 12 to Marquez.

I feel sorry for JMM because he truly boxed brilliantly tonight. It was a beautiful exhibition by him I thought.

It got to the point leading into the 11th and 12th where I thought that if Pacquiao didn't score a knockdown, it would be a decision for Marquez, or a draw. Pac may have won the 11th, but no way in the world he won the 12th. He literally gave the last round away.
