Agreed. Pacquiao clearly lost the fight, not by a huge amount but certainly by 2 rounds. Both guys provided exciting action and entertained the piss out of me for 36 minutes.
And Marquez at age 34 looks no worse for wear than he did 4 years ago in the first match, which is amazing.

really i had Pac up three rounds and Marquez was rocked numerous times in the fight and for the record should have got knock down twice in round 3 clearly the ropes held him up. Great fight though peace
I had it 114-113 Marquez, with the final round deciding it.
i agree with this post 100%
i had exactly the same score you did and the last round decided it for me, by marquez winning the last round, i had it 114-113 for marquez, to me, it looked like manny pacquiao knew he lost the fight when michael buffer read out the score cards.
by the way what was harold ledermans score, does anybody know??
Pacquaio clearly won the fight. Marquez was on his heels all night, especially after he got dropped. It wasn't as much of a blow out as Pavlic's destruction of Taylor, but it was a clean hard fought win.
a disgracefull decision. i'm telling you the boxing scribes
are going to raise hell about this one!
manny fought valiently but man,i'm sure compubox
will bare out, it was all marquez UD.
i can't believe this...PRANK!!!
I actually didnt stick around for the punch stats, does anyone have them?
although in the end, it doesnt change how i scored the fight anyway
I had it 113-113 another draw. If it wasn't for the KD, I think Marquez won. Manny was winning when the fight was in close even though Marquez came out pretty good sometimes. Then JMM came with that great counterpunching style he did in the first fight. It was a tremendously close fight and there were a few rounds that could have gone either way. I didn't think the decision was a robbery, but IMO it was draw or a close victory for JMM.
I thought JMM won by one point, but the fight was so close I wouldn't call it a robbery.
Still I do feel sorry for the Marquez brothers. Mexicans have often lost close decisions they really deserved to win, because of the biased Las Vegas judges.
Manny won because he landed more punches per round. Isn't that how fights are scored? Who ever lands the most punches per round usually wins the fight right?
No, its who scores the most effective punches.
Judges don't count punches for the fight, or per round.
