The majority of Ricky Hatton fans are not boxing fans.Well, they are to a certain degree.

Ask the majority of the people who attend his fights and buy his PPV's "name the 4 major titles in boxing" and they would struggle.

I think the "doing this for the fans" thing is a bit silly anyway, but it might be believable if Hatton had signed up with ITV or BBC for the fight, rather than with a TV company that most people don't own, and where those that do will have to pay extra to see the fight.
