ok fair enough I wasn't saying bonin was amazing I was just saying that it was a good solid start I think he is going to fight hasim rahman next so that will be a decent early test for haye.

I personaly feel he will kick ass at heavyweight

I think saying Haye is gonna be a big force in the HW division is a bit premature. He has good power that should carry over well to the HW division, but the question is whether he can take a punch at HW. Especially when he keeps that left hand really low. I can see him beating certain top ten guys, with his speed and athleticism, but Im thinking eventually he'll get caught with a big punch and it's going to be lights out. If he tightens up that defense then he might be able to do something.

I'm not saying he's Not gonna be a force at heavy weight.. I'm saying we have very little information to decide over.. and I suppose all the backlash from the board is in anticpation of English Hype.

I'm also worried about Haye not being able to hurt some of the top guys. If that happens then he's ****ed. I can't see him outboxing an elite opponent. I hope I'm wrong 'cause I love watching him fight but I have doubts.

Your right because out of all his fights he's gone the distance once and past the sixth round four times. It's going to be interesting if Haye is able to land some big shots, yet his opponent is still there fighting back. I could see him tiring out in the later rounds against somebody to. There are just certain questions about Haye before he can be named a top HW threat.

I gotta tell ya that when David Haye fought Tomasz Bonin in his frist try at HW (although i could have beaten Bonin) he was keeping his left hand higher than he generally did in some fights at cruiser. I think this is because he is clever enough to know that HWs can hurt him, so i think he will be smart enough to keep that hand up and his power should give him a good chance in any fight. However, if he oculd polish his technical abilities along with tha power he could be very good.

Also, Larry says that Haye better be more exciting than that crap fest that was Wlad Vs Sultan.

He was not ranked #11 in the world, stop lying to promote someone from your country.

He was not a top 75 HW, though he did have a bogus organizational ranking

There is absolutely nothing wrong with people getting excited about what David Haye can do. The heavyweight division is awful and at least this fellow is putting the spotlight back on it somewhat. If you're a fan of boxing I don't see why you shouldn't be a fan of David Haye.
