If Haye was american he would be the second coming of Jesus Christ right now.
If anything Haye isn't getting the respect he deserves.
How many other fighter past or present can lay claim to being undisputed champ in 21 fights?
Haye should be celebrated like Povetkin for taking risky fights and giving the fans what they want to see rather than ducking and diving and padding their records.
Like a lot of "established" fighters do.
I just don't understand the hate for guys like this?
    Must be jealousy!!!
Yeah haye was an excellent amateur and the best cruiserweight since holyfield.

What gets me is that Paul Williams was heralded as the saviour of the sport after he beat Sharmba Mitchell for the WTF welterweight championship of **** all, but here's a guy with 22 wins, 21 knockouts who has unified his division (with a pair of knockouts) and is funny and personable and he's being written off before he's even had a go.

What gives? Is geography really that important?

Haye has amazing potential, but we'll have to see his chin checked by a big heavyweight before we can see if he is the full package at the heavier division. He's got a great punch and good skills and speed, and the chance that he could get ko'd makes his fights even more exciting.

If he cuts the mustard, this can only be a good thing for heavyweight boxing - someone with a personality!!

You guys can jump on his nuts once he beats a decent heavyweight, until then, please STFU already.

Haye will not save the heavyweight division, he's not the Real Deal and lets not forget it.

            Thank you!
Lol, I was waiting for this, I thought which hate in you will overcome, hate for Wlad or hate for european fighters in general.

It was another classic emabarassing NSB moment, seriously, he has a punchers chance against wlad, but he hasnt been tested at heavy.

Id Pay money to see him fight eddie chambers, chambers has better skills, haye has the power.

English sports fans are zealously nationalist.

We Yanks have our points of ignorance, but the English are apparently incapable of overlooking a man's passport

I've explained to you before Duffgun, the country Wlad is from, the Ukraine, is no longer communist - and hasn't been since we were babies! At least 10,000,000 Ukrainians died in the purges of the 1920s and 1930s for resisting communism. Wladimir is not a communist!
